Anzac Day Commemoration 2017

Anzac Day was again remembered in Orkney this morning, despite the seasonally cold weather, in St Olaf's Cemetery. Kirkwall Royal British Legion President Bryan Taylor laid a wreath on the grave of a New Zealand Fleet Air Arm pilot, Lloyd Johnson of Leeston Canterbury.  Memorial crosses were then placed by Legion and Royal Naval Association members, also Australian Greg Miller now living in Orkney.  A webpage about the visit with a couple of photos can be seen using the link below.
