At the SCA Scottish Surf Kayak Championships held in Thurso on 9 April 2011, Adam Strutt won silver in the Junior Short Boat and silver again in the Junior Long Boat Class.

KKC Chairman, Kristian Cooper won a bronze medal in the Novice Class.
