Tattie Bogle darts won by Brian and Vanessa

Not a great turnout for the last of the charity events, the Tattie Bogle Shield.
Only 13 ladies and nine gents put their names forward — some of of the top players were in Aberdeen for the Premier League darts but their absence didn’t distract from the top darts played.
With more ladies than gents, some of the gents got two bites of the cherries and, as often happens, two of them made the final, along with their partners.
The winners were Vanessa Robertson and Brian Stevenson, 3-0 over Senga Taylor and Erlend Lennie, but nobody were losers as most people won something in the raffle.
Special prizes for high and low scores on the special boards was won by Katy Croy, Erlend Lennie, Craig Taylor and Noreen Bain. £271 was raised for charity.
With the playing season now over it’s only the presentation of trophies and the exhibition left.
The trophy presentation takes place this Saturday in the Masonic at 7.30pm.
There will also  be mixed doubles darts, names out of the hat, on the night, so no need to enter with a partner. It's one leg 701, and a fun night which worked well last year.
Tickets for the exhibition, which featured Terry Jerkins, Alan Norris, and top commentator John Gwynne are on sale from Craig Taylor and from the bar at the Kirkwall Legion.
