Legion darters hit 70 !

They just keep rolling along!
That’s the Legion, as they stroked up win number 70, as they closed in on the 41-year-old record of the Nomads.
Latest team to feel their power were the Untouchables, who lost their undefeated record to the champions, 9-3.
It’s two to go to equal the record. No bets will be taken!
Also undefeated are the Wanderers, who have still to play the Legion. They beat RBLM 7-5.
The top game saw the Golf Club take on the Commodores and come away 7-5 victors.
The Commodores also played Shapinsay and won 10-2. That was Shapinsay’s second game, as they went down 8-4 to Quoyburray, who recorded their first win.
Sanday are right back on form, with a 9-3 demolition job of Untouchables ‘A’, and there was a good 9-3 win for the Quoyburray ‘B’ over the Murray Arms, who are finding the going hard in the top league.

Some good results in the Williamson’s ‘B’ League. Leading the way are Tankerness.
9-3 winners away to the Likely Lads, and the same score was recorded by St Ola over the Sands, who have a couple of games to catch up.
All outstanding games must be played by the end of October, or the committee will give a result.
Deerness had a good 8-4 win over the Motorhoose, and there was a 7-5 win for the Legion Arrows at home to the Bilco Boys.
No results though, from the other two games. Remember, score cards must be in the Legion Club by 12 noon on Saturdays.
