Darts set to begin again

It has not been a long break this year, as the darts get under way on
Friday, with the Legion Men¹s Singles, in the Royal British Legion, at
7.30pm.

It is a very important competition, as the two finalists are invited to
represent the club at the Highlands and Islands competition later in the
year.

They are joined by the winners of the doubles to be played on January 14, to
make up a team of four.

The league cups resume on Monday, January 10, with the Swannay Cup. It is
for teams of four to six players and is open to any A or B teams.

Two new cups have been introduced to the cup fixture list, so all the old
lists are now void. The new lists will be available on notice boards.

The new cups are the E. R. T. Craigie Cup, which will be played for on
Friday January 21, in the Quoyburray Inn, at 7.30pm and the Pit Stop Cup,
which will be played for on Friday, February 4, in the Golf Club, at 7.30pm.

Both cups are singles and will carry ranking points and are for registered
players only.

There will be a committee meeting on Wednesday, January 12, in the Masonic
Club, at 8pm.
