Close at the top of the B League

The Williamsons Butchers sponsored 'B' league reached its halfway point last week and things could not be tighter at the top, with a real four horse race in progress. Sands are top with both Ale Stars and The Toonies just a point adrift, with Tankerness two points further behind. Meanwhile Quoyburray and Young Loons remain just about in contention but can afford no more slip ups when the action resumes.

Sanday remain top of the 'A' league but only by two points following a narrow loss to closest challengers the Legion. The Untouchables demolished Bilco Boys to keep their slim hopes alive whilst the Golf Club will need to ensure they win their match in hand to stay in contention.

All league matches resume in the week beginning Monday 8th January.

The Kirkwall and District Darts League committee would like to wish all players and followers of the league a very merry Christmas and all the best for a prosperous new year.
