The KDDL 'A' league, kindly sponsored by Williamsons Butchers, sprung into action last week with wins for the Legion, Untouchables, OGC and Sanday.

This Friday sees the Legion play host to the Tom Notman Singles, which is the old league format of 301 double start, best of 3 throughout. This format often provides plenty of excitement and surprise results as it can prove to be a real leveller, with lots of different winners over the years.

180s were scored by: Wayne Monkman, Keith Brumpton, Kevin Peace, Aaron Mitchell, Brett Dickinson, Stevie Moar, Trevor Shearer, Derek Firth (two), Stuart Thomson (two), Damian Stout (two) and Kevin Gray (three). Gary Wilson had a score of 171.
