The darts are almost over for the season, however this coming weekend in Shetland the KDDL Orkney B team kindly sponsored by Williamson's Butcher head to Whalsay to take on a Shetland B team. Good luck to skipper Robbie Norquoy and the team, and thanks to Shetland B captain David John Anderson for making it all happen in Shetland.

 

Also this Friday, May 3, is the May weekend Open Charity Doubles, 7.30pm in the Kirkwall Masonic. There is a mens and ladies competition with prize money, with money raised on the night donated to heart screening for the young in Orkney.

 

Donations from the events will be paid into Freya Dalrymple Memorial Fund at Cardiac Risk in the Young, and will go towards funding future local screening events.
