Sickbay in Hoy

Craig writes:
'Two pics taken on a poor quality digital camera around five years ago on Hoy.One shows an old barge fitted with a crane, was it used for the salvage work of the German fleet? or during the second world war? The other is a building with Red Cross marking on it, maybe a sickbay or hospital during WW2? Any other info appreciated.'
