This is the final page of names of the Orkney "other ranks" who served with the 226 battery R.A. in Burma in WW2.

It would be nice to think that we could add faces to the names of all the Orkney men mentioned in this borrowed article,and set up an album especially to this end.
For that matter it need not stop there,it could include all Orkney people who served anywhere in world war two.

My husbands dad Billy Rosie and my uncle George Robinson both on this list as is Billys friend Doug Thomson and my sisters father in law Buster Bews. We have a photo of 226 battery but can only pic out the few named above.
