Kirkwall Basin - 1966

Next to the pier at left side is John Clyne's 'Laurel' with Tommy Harcus's 'Lotus' lying alongside. Astern of these two is Doctor Sydney Peace's converted ships lifeboat (name slips my mind). In the corner is George Kent's 'Noup Head' (see picture #4068) Anchored near the Corn Slip is Dan Kirkpatrick's 'Naughty Girl'.

You are correct Dr Peace's boat was called White Wings, and the, scouws o her, are at the the Bay o Creekland in Hoy now. I have been told she was a ships boat from the Jhoanathordan, wrecked on Swona can anyone confirm or dispute this.
