Thank goodness the badly rutted and eroded surface has now been sorted. It had been almost impossible to get across the top of Tankerness Lane in my wheelchair as the surface was so rutted and I had complained to OIC about this. Folk had been twisting their ankles trying to walk across. Good and fast job done to sort this area out and I don't mind the mist as the surface is so smooth...........what about doing the rest of Kirkwall's streets??

Nice job, white lines on and all before the tarmac has cooled...
