This is an Albion van. Not a lot different from the 1938 model I drove for James Flett & Son (Orkney)Ltd in the 1960s. My van was much longer. No synchromesh. Low geared and powerful. I used to get hell from Orkney County Council snow plough men for crashing through roads before them - chains on of course. It messed it up for them. I was young and brave!!
