SMH yawl

The photo was taken at St Margarets Hope in the early 1950s by Alex Mees.
It shows Harry Forbes yawl with my Uncle Jim Scott at the helm.

Nothing changes - skippering a yawl requires the "Master" to wear a tie.

Harry's yawl was always kept in immaculate condition, I wonder what happened to her?

Harrys yawl was sold to my brother in Edinburgh,then it was sold on to someone on the west coast.
There was a problem with the iron nails used on this boat,which may have eventually led to its demise.
