Haymaking at Glenorkney

Date is a guess, late 1950s'. Hay making at Glenorkney Farm, St.Ola. L-R.Annette Russell, Arnold Russell, George Garson, Harry Russell senior, Rita Hutchison, Willy Marwick, former head Postmaster in Kirkwall,J ames Hutchison senior. The Hutchisons' of "Glenorkney" and the Russells' of "Cannigall always worked together at the hay making and the harvest time. I worked many a Saturday at both farms on a day off. Being a "Toonick" I thoroughly enjoyed it. Added by Phil Brough.
