Comments:
This car still runs the roads nearly on a daily basis, owned by Angie Harcus, I believe?. Previous owner, Arthur Flett of Flett and Sons, Bridge St. Did the car belong to someone in Deerness before Arthur? My father hired the car from Leslie to go to a Family Funeral in Dounby in 1947 and I was in the car aged 8yrs. old. Added by Phil Brough.

The engines from that make of car were used in some local boats many years ago. We had a 15.9 H.P. engine from a Morris Colonial car in our boat The Mull Head in the sixties. The engines were very reliable, our one was converted to run on Parafin oil.
