Date estimated. Note Clydesdale Bank is Peace and Low. Was the Low any relation to TP and JL Low next door?

This dates from after 1930 when Spence's original newsagent's shop, visible in picture #1136, was removed to widen the entrance to Victoria Street. The drapers were Thomas Peace, sometime Provost of Kirkwall, and Charles Low. The lawyers were Charles Low's sons Thomas Peace Low and John Lees Low. Their office was Provost Peace's old house.
