Waiting for the ferry

It's that long since I've used it, this will be the short sea ferry pier at John O Groats ?

[Scrabster surely?- Steven]
06 May 2008.

That's Scrabster, too many hooses for Groats. The Fishermans Mission (the white building right of Robertsons oil tanks in your photo) has great mince an tatties and homemade soup.

The date must be after 1975 is it not as that's the pier for the St. Ola III. Can't tell if the pier's aged there. Does look very 70's from the flares. And I went through a phase of fishing from the pier back then.......
