Couper family tree

Hi, can anyone help with any information on the Couper family tree? The first record I have is James Couper married to Margaret Garriock living on Egilsay around 1783. They had 2 sons Hugh and Alexander. I have traced my mothers maternal family tree back to Alexander. Alexander married Barbara Davie (father Nicol Davie, mother Groat) and they had 8 children. They lived at Whistlebare on Egilsay. Their son David born 1827 married Dugles Craigie( father James Craigie mother Mary Rendall) from Sound Egilsay. She was born around 1841. They had 14 children 8 born on Egilsay then the family moved to Newbigging, Holm on the mainland where a further 6 children were born. Their son James Manson Couper (Cooper) moved to Govan, Glasgow and he married Annie Scott, my grandmother Annie Cooper was born then the family moved to Port Glasgow where they remained. I would love to hear anything about their life on Orkney.

I cant give you much information regarding the Coupers, but my grandfather (orig Kenneth Martin Keldie) was fostered by them, and eventually changed his name to be an official part of their family. James seems a popular Couper name as well as that is my dads name. The Couper family that adopted my grand father had two Violets in - the mother and the eldest daughter. As far as I'm aware Violet the younger is now over 100 and still alive :)
