Looking for a old fishing boat

A 75 ft wooden build fishing boat w/ 2 stroke Wichman semidiesel engine was sold from Norway in the 60's. The boat have the name " Leikaren" when leaving Norway. The latest info. I have is that the boat was sold to Orkeney and possible re-named to Asco .... Thanks in advance if the are some info / pictures.

Didnt the ASCO belong to the late Jimmy Newlands of Kirkwall, He used her as a small cargo boat. The boat Im thinking of would be a typical Norwegian build of that era, I think she was sold on to Stornaway a lot of years ago

I think you're right Allan, and something in my mind tells me she was involved in the seaweed industry on the west coast after Jimmy had her... long time ago tho memory might be playing tricks..

Am no being funny Alan, is it the peedie black coaster called "Busant" that you might be thinking aboot? She was a Norwegian wooden built coaster. I mind Jackie Irvine using Jimmy tae take sheep across the Firth fae here but like all o Jimmy's plans and dreams the didna lest long. Think she had a "chugg" "chugg" engine fitted.
