Boat named Lyndonlas
Hi all
Just wondering If anybody knows the wherabouts of a boat called the Lyndonlas, or has any pictures of this boat. The boat used to be my half brothers who was called Freddie Craigie, and used to be stored in kirkwall harbour, from at least 1979 onwards until about late 80s. Also would appreciate any info on a boat called the Dune, which used to belong to my father Charles Sinclair Kelday. Would much appreciate any info. Many Thanks Emma Riding, (nee Kelday)

Billy Connelly's acknowledgement of John Rae
Three cheers for Billy Connelly who acknowledged John Rae's achievements and the injustice dealt to him, during his current programme 'Journey to the Edge of the World' !!

Orkney antique boat
We recently acquired a 14ft. lapstrake boat, with a 4 HP/ single cylinder 2 cycle motor (Stuart Marine) that was built in the Orkney Islands sometime in the 1930's?
We are seeking any information about this boat - were there other boats like this made? Who was the builder? What years were they produced? Any information at all would be appreciated.

New Website
An excellent website which I hope will be widely used by all those interested in John Rae and the Restoration of his birthplace.
