DWP Research Report: Mental Health and Employment
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) recently published a report on Mental Health and Employment. The study was designed to address a gap in knowledge about the circumstances that lead people to claim Incapacity Benefit (IB) because of a mental health condition, and what factors contribute to people with mental health conditions returning to work after a period on IB. The study also investigated employers’ understandings and experiences of dealing with mental health conditions in the workplace. Download report from www.dwp.gov.uk
