Background

SULA Diving is located at the Old Academy in Stromness, next door to the EMEC offices. It's core activities focus around the provision of marine survey and hyperbaric related services. It's core staff team are all qualified divers and marine biologists who have been working in Orkney for many years, gaining an extensive knowledge of the marine environment during this time. The company largely specialises in projects requiring special scientific input.

SULA Diving is certified by Talisman Energy to undertake diving operations at the Flotta oil terminal and as part of this process undergoes a bi-annual audit by Talisman's Subsea Engineer.
