Music Appreciation Group - April 2015

We enjoyed our continuing theme -Night and Day"- and as usual,we heard very interesting choices -
Including-One fine day-Madam Butterfly;The Gentle Light that wakes me-Phil Cunningham;Early one Morning,Percy Granger-arranged when He was 13 yrs old;Apres un Reve,Faure;Bing singing-Where the blue of the night meets the gold of the day;Duncan Chisholm-Morn;Night ,from the Faerie Queen by Purcell;Sting singing Come Again by John Dowland;The Way You Look to night;Lullaby of Birdland .
The above list is just a few of the choices that we enjoyed - lively discussions liven it up!
We enjoyed the O'Sheas wonderful hospitality which included Gloria's superbe home bakes!
Our next get together in on the 4th of May - at Kincraig - when Allan has chosen the theme - Seasons
