BOTANY GROUP - October 2

The heath and beach trawl on 2nd October commenced!! with fresh coffee, scones, cream and jam which set us up nicely for a windy but sunny interesting trawl through the fields (Rose was needed more than once).
Then on to the shore where we made the aquaintance of furbelows and
the false fox- tailed sedge.
Then back for sandwiches and a very welcome cup of homemade soup.
Many thanks to our hostess- you did spoil us.
Next get together will be Thursday 6th November, details nearer the time.
