THE ART GROUP IN JULY

The Art Group
Our recent meeting on 3rd July was The Orkneyingasaga in Orphir, the weather was cool and misty and pleasant. We drew outside all morning using pencil. Keeping the equipment simple and improving drawing skills is a good aid to creativity. We then had coffe at The Noost which was handily, just around the corner, it was great fun and a good morning out.
A surprising find especially the ants' nest I had sat in!!
The next meeting on Tuesday 7th August will be at Birsay and parking looking over The Brough and afterwards at Birsay Tea Rooms.
We now meet once a month starting at 10.30 and will include shelter if possible and a meeting place for coffee.
