On Monday (May Day holiday) Alistair and I took our teenagers out to Marengo Gardens in St Margaret's Hope. Allana turned 17 on Saturday and like her brother Dean, got a camera for her birthday. We thought it would be a good opportunity for them to try out their cameras but I have to say that I wasn't sure there would be much to take photographs of at this time of year.  We were so glad we went as the garden looked really lovely. Lots of flowers in bloom, great colours and several tiny birds flying in and out of the trees. I hope you enjoy Deans photos and can manage a trip out there yourselves, its a lovely place.
