An afternoon 'package' specially designed for day-visitors from Kirkwall, but available to those holidaying on the island.

You will be met from the mid-day ferry, taken to meet the island's Ranger at Heilsa Fjold, where he will give an informal illustrated presentation during your lunch. After that you will be taken for a guided minibus tour around Sanday with an island couple, taking in many sights and sites of interest, including stops at the Heritage Centre and the Coft Museum. At the end of the tour, you'll return to Heilsa Fjold where you may choose to have a cup of tea or coffee before your return to the afternoon ferry.

The Sanday Experience requires a minimum of 4 bookings, and the cost is £25 per person (includes pick-ups, lunch, and tour, but does NOT include cost of afternoon tea/cakes).
