GENERAL GRANT LOAN FUND APPLICATIONS

Rousay, Egilsay and Wyre Development Trust has set up a General Grant and Loan Fund which is open to applications from any businesses, voluntary groups, social enterprises or individuals on Rousay, Egilsay or Wyre.  The Board of the Development Trust welcomes applications up to 7 days prior to the next Board meeting.

Board meetings for 2013 will be held on:

Tuesday 25th June; Wednesay 21st August; Saturday 5th October; and Tuesday 10th December.

You can either drop your application into the Trust's office at The Manse, Sourin, Rousay; send it in by post; or email it in to info@rewdt.org.  The procedure is administered by the Grants, Applications and Projects Officer, but all decisions are made by the Board of Directors.

Please note: An award will not be granted for any expenditure made prior to an application being approved by the Board.

GENERAL GRANTS AWARDED DURING 2012/13

The Development Trust has awarded turbine grant funding to the value of £24,142.12 during 2012/13 as follows: - Rousay Parent Council was awarded £4,939.00 for outdoor activities and travel bursaries; Rousay Community Association was awarded £269.99 towards the cost of a replacement fridge; Discover Rousay was awarded £1,500.00 towards computer equipment costs; £160.00 was awarded towards a residents day trip to Stromness; £1200 was awarded to Rousay Youth Club for horse riding lessons; and £13,500 was awarded to the Crafthub to assist with set up costs.
