School Reunion Meeting April Update

The April meeting was held on 16th April in the Torvhaug.
Present were: Fiona Bain, Heather Dunnett, Kenny Low, Bruce Moar and Jack Moodie.

Bruce gave an update on the progress of the ticket sales. It was decided to put a letter in the local press to see if we can prompt folk into buying their tickets.

The Commodore had confirmed that they were happy to host a BBQ on the Sunday if we go down that road. From hassle perspective it was felt that it would be best if The Commodore actually did the BBQ and folk had to pay for what they wanted. Bruce will speak to Leigh about this.

A discussion was had on the hall décor and what to have on display. Old photos, school jotters, school magazines and programmes were all mentioned.
A slideshow of old photos and memorabilia projected onto the one of the walls throughout the evening was an interesting thought.

The next meeting will be on Wednesday 28th May at 8pm in the Torvhaug. A good turnout is requested (needed!)
