Spangles, Marathons and Opal Fruits are a few sweeties I used to like when I was peedie. What other sweeties do you remember or did you like?

Those black bubble gums from Harry Kerr's with the pirate on them.1/2p and a free tattoo and they made your tongue go black, and my sister didn't pinch them 'cause she didn't like them - now that's value for money.
I can still smell the sweets behind the sliding door in the window at Harry Kerr's.
But still don't like the black sports mixtures!

Harry Kerr's. That's a blast from the past. Sadly that shop no longer exists and neither does Costies or the Quoybanks Shop.
Another thing that doesn't exist now that I used to like was a pock o' Pomona (Orkney) crisps.
