Love Food Hate Waste Classes

LFHW Cooking Workshops!

To support the Love Food Hate Waste campaign, Orkney Zerowaste organises free cooking workshops to reduce food waste and make the budget stretch further! In the classes cover meal planning, thrifty cooking, loving your leftovers, portion sizes and store cupboard cookery! We’ll use a few of our great recipes and help you to improve your food skills!


October’s theme is ‘Indian Fake-away’, taking on the takeaway at home. Join us to make your own delicious curry, rice, cheats posh naan, poppadums and dips!





Session 1 – 3-5pm

Session 2 – 7-9pm

Useful info:
• Each workshop runs for approximately 2 hours.
• Booking is essential as places are limited (max 10).
• The classes are FREE, anyone over 16 year olds welcome!
• All ingredients provided, please bring a box to take a sample home!
