Knit your own Mitts with Morag Tuesday 24th April 1-4.30 pm
Come along and learn how to knit some fingerless gloves or mittens to help keep your hands nice and cosy throughout the Orkney year.
Whether you are an absolute beginner, or have knitted before, come along to explore just what you can do with some yarn and some bits of metal!
You’ll be learning the basics and some fancier moves if you feel up to it.
We’ll discuss just what you can knit with, be it new wool; project left-overs; an old jumper or even an old tee-shirt!!!
There will be a two hour workshop, where you will learn to knit a pair of fingerless gloves, followed by a drop-in session lasting an hour or so for folk to ask more questions and exchange ideas.
Tea and Coffee, homebakes will be supplied by our OZW kitchen elves........
So just bring along any spare yarns you may have, as well as some needles, though there will be a few available to use on the day.
We all look forward to seeing you there!
A small charge of £2 for members and £5 for non members will help to cover the cost of the room! So if you're not an OZW member then its a good time to join, membership is free.
