The County youth football season kicks off in earnest this weekend with both Under 11 and Under 13 County squads in competitive action. 

The Under 13's travel to Dingwall to play in the Second Annual Highlands & Islands Football Festival, playing fives games over Saturday and Sunday. Details of fixtures on the COUNTY FOOTBALL page.

The Under 11's are on home soil at Picky playing hosts to Shetland on Sunday for the John W Shearer Cup. Match times on the COUNTY FOOTBALL page. All Orkney players, parents, coaches and OYDG officials are invited to join their Shetland counterparts in the Rugby Club on Sunday evening - 7pm-10pm for a social gathering - prior to the Shetland party catching the ferry home. A good attendance is requested.

Prior to this on Saturday at Picky three Orkney U11 7-a-side teams will compete against two Shetland teams in a round robin tournament. Details on the TOURNAMENTS page.
