OF THE ORKNEY YOUTH
DEVELOPMENT GROUP (OYDG)
The Orkney Youth Development Group was established in 2002 and is the main body organising and supporting youth football in Orkney.
OYDG oversees all levels of children’s football locally, including:
- Fun 4’s / Super 5’s festivals;
- U11, U13 and U15 leagues;
- Orkney representative teams in the summer months for U11-U15 age groups;
- Orkney Youth FC (in partnership with Orkney Football Academy) to compete in regional leagues during the winter months.
Our committee takes responsibility for ensuring good governance, safe practice, child wellbeing and protection, liaison with SFA and SYFA for all our activities.
