
THE ORKNEY YOUTH DEVELOPMENT GROUP (OYDG),
is responsible for all the youth football in Orkney (from Primary School to Under 16). An associate member of the Scottish Youth Football Association (SYFA) the OYDG organises and runs summer outdoor leagues, indoor winter leagues and representative fixtures.

The jubilant 'Orkney Red' team who won the Under 12s Northern Counties 7-a-sides at Picky on Saturday June 9th 2007. The competition was first played for in 2002 and this is the first Orkney side to lift the silverware.
