Orkney Nature Festival 2015
The Orkney Nature Festival team are very pleased to announce dates for the 2015 Nature Festival - Wednesday 13th May to Sunday 17th May. Work on the programme is going on across the county at present, so it can be launched at the end of March.
This year's Festival is a bit shorter than those in 2013 and 2014, but there will still be just as much of Orkney's wonderful wildlife to show off. It promises to be great.
For anyone wishing to get involved with organising the 2015 Festival, or to suggest events, then please contact Alison Nimmo at the RSPB Office - firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01856 850176.

RSPB Scotland is very grateful to the European Regional Development Fund and Heritage Lottery Fund who provided the funding to develop and run the 2013 and 2014 Festivals through the Enjoy Wild Orkney project, and to Anne Bignall who was responsible for the very exciting programmes in each year. Visit the hide at RSPB Scotland's nature reserve at The Loons in Birsay to see what Anne is working on just now!
It is wonderful that there is commitment across Orkney's wildlife and tourism organisations to make sure that the Festival has a future. It looks like mid May will be a firm highlight in Orkney's calendar for some years to come!
