A new study, Stories and Fables, focusing on Orkney's cultural success over the past generation and beyond was published on 25 January 2012. Commissioned by HIE, the study was written by highly respected writer and cultural researcher Francois Matarasso. It's a fascinating analysis, and highly recommended.
