Membership Categories

Associate membership

Associate Membership of the forum shall be open for any individual, business or organisation based outside of Orkney, which/who supports the objectives of the forum and by invitation thereof. The subscription rate for Full Members is £200 per calendar year.

Full membership

Membership of the forum is open for any individual over the age of 18, business or organisation based within Orkney, which/who supports the objectives of the forum and by invitation thereof. At the AGM (March 2008) it was decided that membership shhould be scaled to reflect the numbers of empoyees primarily involved in renewable energy/energy efficiency as follows:

  • 1-2       Employees £100
  • 3-5       Employees £150
  • 6-10     Employees £200
  • 11-20   Employees £350
  • 21+      Employees £750

Individual Supporters

Although Individual Supporters do not have membership status, their support will be recognised through receipt of newsletters, summaries of meetings and other information where appropriate.   The subscription rate for Individual Supporters is £20 per calendar year.

Students

Student Membership shall be open to any individual over the age of 18 in full time education. Student Members shall not have any vote. The subscription rate for Individual Supporters is £10 per calendar year.
