Recent donations to Orkney Helpings came from the Stromness Junior Youth Club. They donated half their takings from their car boot sale, £83.00! A big thanks from OHH!

OHH raised £67.00 at the sale ran by the Youth Club.

Castlehill Housing Association, staff and friends are now well over half way through the Challenge of rowing/walking/cycling 7000 miles in aid of OHH. Barbara-Ann's Dad, Jim McVean, has joined the team and they expect to finish the event at the end of May 2008. We will keep you posted!

The Buchan Alpha recently donated £150 to OHH. The Buchan Alpha is a small floating Oil Production Platform stationed some 120 kilometres North East of Aberdeen, and part of off-duty activities is raising monies for various charities.

The money raised from their Christmas and New Year Raffles was distributed between twenty three nominated charities and we are pleased that OHH was nominated as one of them.
