We may be best known for Dial-a-Bus
 but there's much more to
Orkney Disability Forum.

We run a number of services, all with the aim of improving the lives and opportunities for disabled people in Orkney.

For disabled people in Orkney who would like to be a bit more independent (perhaps get out and about a bit more), our Dial-a-Bus service and our Shopmobility scooter hire offers transport solutions that could  probably change your life.

Dial-a-bus is our most visible service.  We run minibuses seven days a week from 8am to about 7pm. Find membership forms here dial-a-bus-membership

We deliver MiDAS training for minibus drivers midas-training midas/wtors-course-information

Shopmobility is a nationally recognised symbol for the provision of wheelchairs and scooters. We have a range of scooters and manual wheelchairs available enabling you to hire or buy equipment scooters-and-wheelchairs to help you get out and about in the community.

We stock a range of living aids for sale to help people in and around their home.

Need a RADAR key? Or looking for a Blue Badge?
Call the OIC on 01856 873535.

We offer a range of advice on services and equipment, on access and on transport.

We hope you will browse the site widely and contact us if you have any interest in our services.

Our Spring 24 Newsletter is also available to read here spring-newsletter-2024
