New Vacancy Posted on 24 April 2012 Along with Orkney Disability Forum, we are pleased to offer a new position to join our team. The details are as follows:
PCV Driver 21 Hours per week, plus opportunity for full time during summer
We are looking to employ a part-time PCV Driver to assist with running contracts, private hires and the running the Dial-a-Bus service.
The work will be principally daytime, with some evening and weekend work available. Drivers must be cheery, courteous, helpful and be physically fit (you must assist people on and off the buses, assist people with luggage, shopping and secure wheelchairs). You will be expected to have a good local knowledge of all mainland routes.
A clean PCV driving licence is essential and the driver will require to have, or successfully pass a MiDAS test (for Minibus drivers). Training will be provided. Enhanced criminal records checks will be made on selected candidates, and the offer of employment will only be made subject to an assessment of the results.
