JKA Orkney Championships
On Saturday 26 June Orkney karate held their annual championships.
There was a good turn out for the even and congratulations to all who attended.
The event lasted nearly 3 and half hours with students competing at differing levels in kumite (sparring) and kata (prearrange set of movements)
The club would once again like to thank Stuart Smith from Lesliedale Farm for his sponsorship of the event.
The Lesliedale Farm trophies this year were presented to Simon Carmichael under 12 years and Sandy Carmichael under 16 years.
In the end the following students came out on top
