First ever session of the Orkney Tiger Cubs.

This was well attended by 22 new karate students.

Sue worked the class for approx 45 mins, covering a variety of games, karate techniques and introduction to "discipline".

We look forward to future weeks.

Spring Course and Grading

This weekend, 7 and 8 March 2008, we are looking forward to the visit of Sensei Alan Simpson 5th Dan JKA.

Sensei Alan is coming to Orkney to hold a special JKA training course and a Kyu grading for students. This kicks off at 6pm on Friday with a course for all grades. On Saturday morning there will be course for 4th Kyu and above, with the course for lower grades between 12.5 and 2.15.

A kyu grading will follow the course, with approx 45 students preparing to sit their respective grading this time round.
