We enjoyed visiting Orphir and noting changes through the year in 2018 and so thought it would make for an interesting exercise again. 2019 is the 60th anniversary year of Orkney Field Club and looking back through the archives it seems as though this idea is nothing new. In 1959 the Field Club made regular visits to Brodgar and recorded what they found, so we will be able to compare notes. We can’t match the dates precisely, but this is a good place to start.

Meet at the Ring of Brodgar car park at 1.30pm
