We required proof of insurance please send a copy with your membership forms: BDS membership gives public liability cover so if you don't have insurance already that is probably a good option with other benefits too. (if you choose this option then you will need to supply proof of memberships for our files – from January onward)
How do I start carriage driving in Orkney?
If you would like to join us on our drives out either as a groom/passenger or riding you are most welcome. Just get in contact with any member of the club or who ever is holding the drive and we'll be delighted to see you there.

The most important part of any Club drive is the food afterwards - if there are any recipes you wish to send us, please do... or check out the recipes already in the library! could add link here...
and remeber most drives and events have a communual meal - so bring along something to share!
